San Francisco City Hall Bridal Portrait Photography

SF City Hall Architecture as Image Frames

We have discussed this before. We are always looking for ways to frame the main subject. When we do wedding photography at San Francisco City Hall we capture many of these architectural features which can become attractive frames for the main subject. San Francisco city hall is loaded with arches, squares, circles and rectangles. This was a prevalent design feature of this type of structure built in the early 20th century. SF City Hall is a great example of Beaux-Arts Architecture with it's patterns and repeating lines and features. This French Style of architecture has heavily influenced the building of large structures in the United States. City Hall was one of the first! I love this particular image because it shows so many things. It features both the face of the bride and also the back of her dress. In the background, you can see some of the architecture we mentioned above. I know this was one of our newlywed's favorite images for these reasons and more. We always let our brides and grooms know about our architecture focus and make sure that they want this too! When we photograph a SF city hall wedding, our couples have so many background options it can be hard to choose!
